Her work explores family legacy, hidden histories, complicated relationships, and the enduring influence of place, often against the backdrop of historic estates and coastal communities.
Born in England and raised across three countries, Kathbell developed a lifelong fascination with history, travel, and storytelling. Her love of historic places, family narratives, and coastal landscapes continues to inspire her fiction today.
Beyond her fiction, Kathbell is the creator of House of Kathbell, a destination for curated collections inspired by the grand estates of New England.
